Larger and calmer than you expect, with courtyards that stay usable even when the inside is full. Give yourself more time than the schedule suggests.
The Rawdah
Entry is by timed permit through the official app, and the permits go quickly. Book as soon as your dates are fixed rather than once you have landed.
Around the city
Quba, Uhud and the date markets are all short trips, and most groups arrange them together in a single morning.
Pace
Madinah rewards slowness. Groups that arrive from Makkah exhausted and treat it as a rest as well as a visit tend to enjoy it most.
